Over the past 10 years, the CMC has partnered with over 100 organizations and thousands of volunteers to enhance our understanding of the health of the Chesapeake Bay. Together we have collected 1.1 million water quality samples at 3,410 different sites, which have been used to advocate for local change, inform regional watershed management decisions, and improve restoration efforts. As a member of the Chesapeake Monitoring Cooperative, [YOUR ORGANIZATION] is proud to contribute to this network of community science.
In just 10 years, the Chesapeake Monitoring Cooperative has become one of the largest community science networks in the United States. The CMC Data Explorer houses over 1.2 million data points collected from 2,400 monitoring stations across the Chesapeake Bay watershed!
