Report New VA SOS Sites

When establishing a new site, you will need to complete two steps to create your site within the VA SOS system. When creating your site you must include a unique station ID, county, watershed, stream, a detailed location description, and lat/long coordinates.

Step 1: At VASOSData.org, add site to the VA SOS database when submitting data for the first time.

Step 2: Using the form below, submit site information to VA SOS staff in order to have your site added to the VA DWR scientific collection permit.
