FNFSR – Benthic Field Training Session

In the final part of the VASOS BMI certification process, participants will practice the VASOS BMI monitoring protocol, and demonstrate proper monitoring methods and BMI identification for final certification. This 2 hour session will be held at Seven Bends State Park, Lupton entrance. Please park in the grass past the barn on the Lupton entrance (to the left of the pavilion).

This session will be held outside, and participants will need to enter the river to demonstrate the monitoring protocol. Please bring rubber boots or shoes that can get wet, and dress for the weather. Masking will be required when within six feet of a person outside of one’s family unit. All monitoring equipment and identification resources will be provided.

Times slots available: 10:00-12:00, 12:30-2:30, 3:00-5:00
