StreamWatch Volunteer Training Session

StreamWatch is hosting volunteer stream monitor training sessions on Saturday, February 28, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., and Saturday, April 11, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Ivy Creek Natural Area Education Center. They are also holding one on Saturday, March 28, at the Fluvanna County Library from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The sessions will cover the fundamentals of stream biological sampling—catching and identifying aquatic invertebrates for the purpose of evaluating water quality and stream health.
